WAP3205 - Can't connect laptop, no WPS button, net 192.168.2

I am unable to connect my laptop via wireless connection through WAP3205 to the Internet. I have spent several hours trying. I got as far as seeing the SSID on my laptop, starting the connecting process, and indicating a good signal strength. But the connecting process stops at "acquiring network address". For some reason, the laptop never receives an IP address from AP's DHCP system. Additional information. The laptop does not have WPS button so the "simple" way of setting up is unavailable. To establish a connection, the laptop required the WPS pin number, which I copied from AP's configuration sceen. I verified that both AP and laptop are set to WPA-PSK encription, and that WAP3205 is in AP mode. The LAN TCP/IP on AP is set to "Get from DHCP Server" and the DNS assignment is set to "From ISP". I can access the AP's Web Configurator via address http://192.168.2.105, which is the address my router assigned to the device. My router's address is 192.168.2.1 and it assigns addesses in the range 100 to 199 (last digit). Also, WAP3205 does connect to the Internet because it fetches the correct time and weather for New York City. Any ideas why my laptop is not connecting? Why it is not getting an IP address from WAP3205?

Maybe you can connect to the WAP3205 with wired to check whether your laptop can get the IP from your router.
Also maybe you can have a test with another wireless card to check whether it is compatible issue or a misconfigure issue~

The laptop works well when connected directly to the hard-wired Ethernet jack. It gets an IP address from my router and I can browse the Internet. Also, I have used my laptop many times with other wireless network and it always work. The only wireless connection that does not work is through WAP3205. Also, the wireless adapter in the laptop came with the laptop - I'm not sure it can be removed. In any case, I do not have another wireless card. Any other ideas what I can do? Is it time to return WAP3205 and try another brand?

I know this is an old thread but hopefully someone has figured out the issue as I am having it too.

My network is set up such that my modem is connected directly to my WAP 3205 via Ethernet and my primary desktop is connected directly to the WAP 3205 via Ethernet. The result is my desktop has a fully functioning internet connection. HOWEVER, despite resetting the WAP 3205 to factory default, I am unable to connect to the router to access the interface. 192.168.1.2 simply returns some variation of "page not found" when attempting in different browsers. Furthermore, I have attempted to connect to the WAP 3205 with no less than 7 different wireless devices and in each case I see the SSID, begin to connect, but the device always fails to acquire a network address. I am not sure what else I can do when factory reset doesn't even help.
