PLA 470 v2 and PL100

I am thinking of adding a PLA470 v2 to my network - it already uses a pair PL100 on one leg. Will a PLA470 communicate with a PL100?

Afraid, this is not possible, because two different standards are used - Homeplug on the PLA100, and Homeplug AV on the newer models. And there is no backward compatibility available, too.
